1881 Rogers A1 1908 La Vigne "Rare" Dessert Pastry Service for Six & Wooden Case

This Antique Silverplate Flatware Set belonged to my Grandmother and it only came out on special occasions, when Desserts, Pastries or Fruit was being served. She added a Melody Pie serving piece and a Baby Fork and Spoon by Community (Floral Design), through the years and I have included those pieces with this gorgeous set. The Melody Pie Server has a Queen Floral designed pattern.
The Oak Storage Box is in awesome shape and my Grandmother would rub it down with Lemmon Oil, every couple of months.
So I rubbed in five new coats of lemon oil, over a three week period and while that soaked in, I meticulously hand polished every piece with an extra mild silver foam polish made by Hagerty.
Look at the pictures to see the amazing results that I achieved, for all of my long elbow grease hours.
This is one of the most beautiful and well cared for "Rogers" flatware sets you will ever find.
This did not come with knives, as the pie slice shaped serving piece did all of the cutting and slicing of pies, pastries, fruit and other deserts.
This set contained the ultra rare "Pie" forks, with one extra wide prong and the unique "Fancy Bowl" Fruit/Orange spoons.
There are 28 pieces in all and the wooden box.
