This two-sided rosary centerpiece features Mary on the front side accented with blue enamel. The back shows an "M" with a cross, two hearts and 12 stars classifying it as a miraculous medal. Both sides have a scalloped edge and a silver oxidized finish. It measures 1 1/8" in height and is made in Italy. Known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, the Miraculous Medal was created by St. Catherine Laboure following a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This medal is believed to bring special intercessions on behalf of the Blessed Virgin Mary if worn with faith and devotion at the hour of death.
