This is my first experience with a "Tiger Rice Cooker", I have another name brand rice cooker made also in Japan that I like very much.  Have sold multiple of the name brand cookers, those made made in China & Japan (
Zojirushi & Cuckoo
) they are great cookers.  This sale of my first of a "Tiger Cooker".  This is a true "open box" sale; it comes in a "UPS Store Box" not a box from the manufacturer, there is no instruction booklet (you can download the instructions online(I read them online), no accessories(spatula, measuring cup, or steamer basket.  I purchased this Tiger Cooker from a "returned merchandise auction", today I took the cooker from the box and cooked 1 cup of white rice in it to make sure it worked, the rice was as good if I had cooked it in my Zojirushi cooker.  The operation is slightly different, that is why I needed to read the instructions online.  This cooker is in my opinion new, never used before I cooked the 1 cup of rice in it.  On Amazon this cooker list price is 9.99.  In the image below you can see an orange steamer basket, the one for this Tiger is missing but you can order one from Tiger using there website, the basket is called a "Tacook" cost: .00.  You could also get the spatula, measuring cup; the measuring cup as of 06-10-21 is "out of stock".  The fact that there is a known place to get parts and accessories make the Tiger more attractive.  OK, enough of me rambling about a "Tiger Rice Cooker".  I do think the "Tiger Cooker" a nice piece of cooking equipment and well worth the price I selling it for.
